Budgeting for Self sufficiency outside of grant funding has, for the past 2 years for the Portland Fruit Tree Project, included providing community engagement in unique and fun ways, and we have been grateful to see our “hunch” that giving folx happy and engaging experiences has in fact led to new and repeating donations and monetary support in new ways.
Kathryn joins us from Portland Oregon and the Portland Fruit Tree Project where she is the Community Engagement Manager. She loves the unique challenge of balancing grant funding with earned income and donor funded line items in non-profit management.
