Gleaning is some of the toughest most meaningful work you can do. In 2017, a group of gleaners banned together to create the Association of Gleaning Organizations so that we no longer have to do all of this alone.

Frequently Asked Question

The only thing we ask is that you share your harvest data with us at the end of each season so we can continue to create gleaning reports and advocate for the industry as a whole.

No. We provide a lot of resources, but funding is not currently one of them.

As organizations across the country become aware of one another, our mutual feelings of isolation and untapped resources led us to host the first Gleaning Symposium in 2017. At this gathering, the increased impact of sharing resources and connecting to similar organizations became apparent. No. We are looking for more board members. If you are interested, please send us a  message. You can also subscribe to our newsletter to get news straight to your inbox.

What Our Members Say

"The Association of Gleaning Organizations has helped us to feel more connected. Being a member gives our organization another resource when questions arise. There are so many experts in this community that have saved us, probably 100 times, from recreating the wheel."
