Become a Member
Becoming a member of the Association of Gleaning Organizations will open up more resources for you and your organization. While there are a plethora of free resources, membership provides you with additional programming and supports AGO in advocating for the gleaning movement as a whole.
What Our Members Say

Membership Agreement
The Association of Gleaning Organizations is a member-lead network that builds the capacity of organizations recovering fresh fruits and vegetables from farms, gardens, and backyards across North America. By engaging communities to harvest surplus produce, vulnerable populations are provided with increased access to wholesome foods. Our network of gleaning organizations is adaptable, sustainable, and connected.
AGO is a hub to support and connect gleaning organizations through opportunities to network and communicate among members, a platform to share financial and programmatic resources and education and advocacy about gleaning and its potential impact.

The only thing we ask is that you share your harvest data with us at the end of each season so we can continue to create gleaning reports and advocate for the industry as a whole.
No. We provide a lot of resources, but funding is not currently one of them (yet!).
As organizations across the country become aware of one another, our mutual feelings of isolation and untapped resources led us to host the first Gleaning Symposium in 2017. At this gathering, the increased impact of sharing resources and connecting to similar organizations became apparent. In 2018, we decided to form a member-led association that would centralize our efforts, advance the gleaning movement, and speak for gleaners as a whole.
